Baauer Enlists M.I.A. And K-pop Phenom G-Dragon for Energizing Call To Arms, "Temples"

Baauer premiered the track Saturday at Alexander Wang's New York Fashion Week show.

NYC producer, Baauer, has shared a new song entitled "Temples," featuring vocals from renaissance woman M.I.A. and K-pop phenomenon G-Dragon. The artist, real name Harry Rodrigues, premiered the track on Saturday while DJing influential designer Alexander Wang's New York Fashion Week show.

Built around a rattling, perfectly-swung beat and an energizing plucked string melody, the track clearly struck a chord with the vocalists, who both showed up in particularly strong form. Keeping consistent with the direct and politicized tone of her recent work, M.I.A. uses her feature as a call to arms, rapping on the chorus, "Warriors, go!/Get your freak on/You don't need money 'cos you won't be alone."

"Temples" will see release on Baauer's forthcoming debut album Aa for Scottish label LuckyMe, which will be out on Mach 18. Stream it here, and revisit his performance of album cut "Make It Bang" featuring Baltimore's TT The Artist below.
