Miami's Meaux Green's brings hip hop to the rave in a way that no other does. It's not your kid brother's trapstyle, nah, it's more J Dilla than Lex Luger. His new tune "Whoa" is a perfect indication of this, all upfront, good-times vibes, despite the ominous synths that oversee affairs. We were convinced that they samples from The Walking Dead, but further inspection showed Bad Boy Records rapper Black Rob was the culprit.In Meaux's words: "I wanted to incorporate fun hip hop vibes I grew up on into modern edm tracks. Hip-Hop was built on sampling and they were taking samples from dance music tracks for years.
