A series of free workshops for LGBTQ+ youth is being offered this month in New York as the city celebrates Pride month and the first-ever Music Month highlighting its diverse music scene.

The INTERLUDE+ series is presented by The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center (a.k.a. The Center), and is curated by local art space Offline Projects. Local collectives Discwoman and Mixpak will host lectures, as will XL Recordings A&R Patrick North, Blood Orange's Dev Hynes, and Mixmag. Topics will span the fields of music, art, and entertainment; including cultural diversity, running a label, queer perception, and balancing creativity with positivity.
