Man Power's Bryan Ferry Remix Is Mystic, Mellow, and Mighty Impressive

The Roxy Music frontman's got a seriously strong batch of remixes on the way and this one's the pick of the lot.

Hopefully we don't have to tell you much about Bryan Ferry because we're going to go out on a BFG sized limb here and assume you know a little bit about the Roxy Music frontman and his long and storied career. It's Bryan Ferry. From Roxy Music.

Bryan Ferry from Roxy Music's solo catalogue is stuffed to the gills with the kind of sultry and seductive sunset classics that smell like expensive cigarettes and even more expensive aftershave, tuxedo-friendly Balearic jams for the suaver man in your life, so we here at THUMP look up to him like he was a Hitch for Test Pressing Readers.

When we heard that a new batch of Bryan Ferry remixes were about to wing their way into the world we splashed ourself with Joop and slipped into the suit we've not worn since we had a job interview at a grain and feed regulators nearly five years ago. Bryan, we thought, would appreciate that.

While we never fond out if he cared or not we DID get our hands on the Avonmore remixes package, a 20 track strong selection of reworkings of cuts from the debonair mum-pleaser's 2014 album of the same name. Featuring the likes of Prins Thomas, PBR Streetgang, Leo Zero, Idjut Boys, and Ray Mang, it's a a seriously smooth set of dancefloor ready re-rubs.

We're delighted to be bringing you ESP Institute producer Man Power's mix of "Midnight Train" right here on THUMP. It's a mystic, mellow, cosmic-jetsetter that's got us in the mood for steak dinners, cocktails, and late night plunges in the pool. Check it out below.
