Kaskade Has a New Imprint Called Arkade; Late Night Alumni is Its First Artist

The DJ/producer's sometimes band, Late Night Alumni returns with new single "The This This."

While everyone's favorite deep-house slash big-room nice guy, Kaskade, doesn't always join his long-running downtempo quartet Late Night Alumni on the road anymore, news just broke that the band will be releasing their fifth studio album on the DJ's brand new Arkade imprint.

Promising to be another journey through loungy deep-house tones, spearheaded by vocalist Becky Jean Williams' sultry croons and the production prowers of John Hancock, the album's first cut "The This This" gives us a glimpse into Eclipse, the forthcoming full-length. In typical LNA form, the single is a warm embrace, one that's padded by silky strings, Becky's angelic vocals, and enough melodic flavor to have you dancing under the moonlight in full form.

Fans of Kaskade from the OM Records era Late Night Alumni will welcome this return of the group, now a duo, with a smile.

"The This This" is out now and Eclipse is set to drop in May. No word yet on upcoming signings to the imprint.
