DJ, producer, and Ghostly International/Spectral Sound co-founder Matthew Dear announced his forthcoming contribution to the DJ-Kicks compilation series today.The installment, which follows Daniel Avery's, is set to drop on January 27, 2017 on !K7 Records. It includes three exclusive tracks from Matthew Dear, including two under his Audion alias; as well as cuts from thatmanmonkz, Pearson Sound, Simian Mobile Disco, Soulphiction, Nils Frahm, and Matrixxman. In a special touch, Dear added in a press release that he sprinkled "snippets of friends and family" throughout the mix through vocal interludes, courtesy of a portable recorder he's carried with him over the years."I wanted to create a mix that could be listened to anywhere, and reflect a little bit of everything that I play," he said.
