Brooklyn experimental musician Julianna Barwick has just announced details for her third album Will, which is scheduled for release May 5 on Dead Oceans. She's also released a video for the first single, "Nebula," filmed in Connecticut's landmark Glass House (designed by famed architect Philip Johnson), and directed by Derrick Belcham.

Will features contributions from Chairlift drummer Jamie Ingalls, cellist Maarten Vos, and Thomas Arsenault (a.k.a. Mas Ysa). The record moves away from the gentle and restful mood of 2013's Nepenthe, instead embracing more intense contrasts.

"I love touring, but it can be a wild ride," Barwick said in a press release. "You're constantly adjusting, assimilating, and finding yourself in life-changing situations. I knew I'd be playing these songs live, so I wanted some movement. Something that had rhythm and low-end."
