Crate Expectations: Anthony Naples

The raw, ethereal house producer gets inspired by booty bass and Jens Lekman.

Like most people, DJs and producers have specific songs tied to events throughout their lives. In Crate Expectations, we extract a playlist from their memories to tell their story. This week's subject: Anthony Naples.

What's the first song you ever loved?
Ghost Town DJ's "My Boo." This one is a bit of a hometown classic. In the mid-'90's, it couldn't be avoided on stations like Power 96 and 99 Jamz in South Florida. I think it still gets played a few times a day down there.
