November Date Set For Fabric's Appeal Against Islington Council

The London club has also detailed exactly where the money raised by recent fundraising efforts is going.

In an update posted today on their website, London nightclub fabric have revealed that their appeal against Islington Council's decision to revoke their license will take place on the 28th of November, at Highbury Magistrates Court. The club has also confirmed it has secured the support of a legal team headed up by "industry heavyweight" Philip Kolvin QC, alongside leading licensing solicitors Woods Whur.

In addition to appealing the decision against their own license, fabric's legal team will propose changes to the Home Secretaries Guidance under the Licensing Act, seeking to protect venues from unfair prosecution going forward.
