Warp signees Mount Kimbie announced their new album today and shared an angsty new single featuring English crooner King Krule. "Blue Train Lines" is the third single from Love What Survives, following collaborations with Mica Levi a.k.a. Micachu and James Blake, and it pairs chugging post-punk instrumentation with alternately rapped, sung, and screamed verses from Krule.

After building momentum around fragile-feeling synths for the first half, "Blue Train Lines" eventually erupts into a bass guitar and drum kit-driven frenzy guided by Krule's emphatic vocal. It's a far cry from the band's earlier work, which usually worked within club music vernaculars.

Mount Kimbie's last album was 2013's Cold Spring Fault Less Youth, which also featured a collaboration with Krule, in "You Took Your Time." Their breakout debut Crooks & Lovers arrived on Scuba's Hotflush imprint in 2011.
