Saint Petersburg producer Mikhail Khvasko, a.k.a. A Vision of Panorama, today shared the latest track from his new self-titled album, which is coming out on Los Angeles's Chit Chat Records.

Living in the chilly climate of Russia's second-largest city, it's unsurprising that Khvasko might find inspiration in the balmy beaches of islands far, far away. A Vision of Panorama, in its nine-track entirety, paints a vivid picture of wind-caressed palm trees, soft crashing waves, and sunsets streaked in warm jewel tones through its Balearic sounds.

Today, THUMP is premiering one of the album's tracks, "Mirror Lake," which Khvasko tells us he made near the end of 2015. Light and fluffy as foam, "Mirror Lake" swells and ripples like a gentle tide. "I tried to convey meditative atmosphere of a mountain lake," Khvasko says. "The track has luxurious pads, organic percussion, and plenty of muscle-relaxing warmth."
