Canada's Pemberton Music Festival has been canceled after the music festival's land owners filed for bankruptcy, according to a report from Billboard. The event was scheduled to take place July 13-16.

The festival would have lost $14 million this year, having only sold 18,230 tickets, which is down from the 38,423 tickets sold last year.

"As [Pemberton Music Festival] is now in bankruptcy, it has no ability to provide refunds for tickets purchased," a letter on the festival's website reads. "However ticketholders may file a proof of claim form as an unsecured creditor with [Ernst & Young Inc.] in accordance with the claims process."

According to a statement from New Orleans-based Huka Entertainment, the event organizers, the decision to cancel the festival was made by Pemberton Music Festival, LP, and not them.

In another report from Billboard, Marc Geiger, a partner and the head of music at WME, says his company plans on "coming after," the teams behind Pemberton Music Festival because of the cancellation. "I want each of them to know 'I coming after you personally,'" Geiger told Billboard. "We're going to pursue all of these people to the full extent of the law." WME represents acts who were set to play the music festival.

This year's lineup would have featured Diplo, Marshmello, and Cashmere Cat, amon many others.
