Chilling Footage of Calgary Nightclub Shooting Surfaces Online

One man was hospitalized in the attack.

In the early hours of Sunday, January 10, a man opened fire through the front door of the Ten X Nightclub in Calgary, Alberta.

Footage of that event, which left one man hospitalized and two suspects in jail, was captured on closed-circuit television and has now surfaced online. In the recording, a white car pulls up in front of the club and a man jumps out and opens fire. Fortunately, the club's security was quickly able to subdue the man.

CBC reports that Mohamed Elmi, 31, and Mohamed Salad, 29, both of Calgary, will face charges including attempted murder, discharge firearm with intent to endanger life, aggravated assault, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Calgary police have stated that they do not believe the attack was terrorism-related.
