Maya Jane Coles' Remix for Kim Ann Foxman Is the Trippy House You Want to Live In

London meets New York on the first taste of Foxman's new EP for her Firehouse Recordings label.

New York City's Kim Ann Foxman is something of a triple threat. In the studio she creates killer house tracks riddled with the perfect amount of 90s flair, evident through releases on her own Firehouse Recordings, the label she launched in conjunction with London's The Vinyl Factory two years back. She's also a formidable force behind the booth, with regular slots everywhere from Panorama Bar to her home turf's Goodroom (catch her next week alongside Greg Wilson), and can sing, having been a vocalist in disco-house outfit Hercules & Love Affair for much of her career. On her latest EP, It's You That Drives Me Wild, we're gifted the entire trifecta—one launched further toward the late-night hour via a remix by an oft-collaborator of Foxman, Maya Jane Coles. Check out the track below, and look out for the EP's full release on August 19.
