Crate Expectations: HNNY

This honey loving Swede gets down to Katy Perry and once butchered a Say Lou Lou track.

Like most people, DJs and producers have specific songs tied to events throughout their lives. In Crate Expectations, we extract a playlist from their memories to tell their story. This week's subject: HNNY.

What's the first song you ever loved?

At least one of the first ones must have been "The Look" by Roxette. It was the first CD I ever bought at my local video store, I remember I just thought everything about it was so cool.

What are the first two songs you ever mixed together?
I'm guessing something by Steve Angello or one of those guys. Maybe Axwell's "Watch The Sunrise" and Buy Now's "For Sale". Still awesome!

What's your worst guilty pleasure song?
I don't feel any song is a guilty pleasure for me actually. Whatever is good is good. It can be Katy Perry, Celine Dion or an obscure Caribbean disco tune.

What song have you had on repeat in the past month?
Sampha "Too Much". I love the arrangment of that song, just pure feeling.

Which track of your own do you like the most?
"No"

Which track of your own do you hate the most?
There are a few, but there's one I really hoped wouldn't have been released. It's a remix of "Julian" by the Swedish band Say Lou Lou. The original is awesome but I really ruined that one.

What's the last song you want to hear before the lights go on?
I recently started ending my sets with this one from time to time. It works pretty frickin' good!
