Air Return With Hits and Rarities Collection, 'Twentyears'

Beloved French downtempo duo, Air, have announced a greatest hits and rarities collection entitled Twentyears, celebrating a two-decade star studded career that has included classic albums like 1997's Moon Safari and the 1999 soundtrack for The Virgin Suicides.

The record will include "Roger Song" and "Adis Abebah," two previously unreleased tracks, as well as collaborations with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Jarvis Cocker, and Françoise Hardy.

The compilation follows 2014's limited edition studio LP Music For Museum.Last year, the duo's members Jean-Benoît Dunckel and Nicolas Godin each took time to concentrate on their respective solo endeavors. To dig back into Air's past a little bit, revisit their eclectic, four-hour 1998 Essential Mix, which THUMP chose as one of our very favorites of the 90s and early aughts.

Twentyears is out June 10 on the 2-CD format; July 22 will see the release of a limited 3-CD and 2-LP super deluxe edition including the band's remixes of David Bowie, Neneh Cherry, Beck, and more. The band has also announced a world tour, which you can see the dates of below.
