On Friday, Phantasy Sound digitally-released Friendly Ghost/Ascension Hymn, the new 12" release from London DJ and producer U."Ascension Hymn" is a propulsive, 13-minute long track featuring a static-y, uplifting vocal sample with lyrics such as, "I will greet this day with love in my heart." The contrast between the uplifting vocals and the aggressive rhythms makes for a blunt, yet heady track.Friendly Ghost/Ascension Hymn was previously released on vinyl with a run of about 300 copies.
