Electronic music is moving at the speed of light right now. If you take a break from the internet for a week, you will come back to a new subgenre or breakthrough artist and feel totally out of the loop. At the same time, man established artists are returning with new music after what seems like forever. This month alone, we've heard new stuff from Daft Punk, Jai Paul, Felix da Housecat, and now UK house godfathers Basement Jaxx (without whom fidget house would have probably never existed)."Back 2 the Wild" is your typical Jaxx tune. The song is upbeat with an infectious bassline and we haven't been able to get it out of our head. There are animal noises, tribal African horns and vocalists Miss Emma Lee and and Baby Chay telling us all to get naked. Yeahhhh. We can get used to this. The video for the original "Back 2 The Wild" went up last week and is posted below but first premiere a brand new re-work from Jaxx alongside Gorgon City (the UK duo of Foamo and Racknruin).
