Marshmello Shares Video for Cathartic New Single "Ritual" on OWSLA

The track features vocals from LA artist Wrabel, and marks the anonymous producer's debut on Skrillex's label.

Anonymous rising star, Marshmello, makes his debut on Skrillex's OWSLA imprint today with a romantically yearning new track featuring vocals from Los Angeles pop musician Wrabel. "Ritual" finds the artist unapologetically aiming for total hands-in-the-air catharsis, and to that effect, the vocal has an almost devotional quality, even recalling gospel music's melodic turns at certain points.

The artist has been gushing with excitement about the track on Twitter for some time now, so we imagine he's glad it's finally seeing the light of day. He is also currently on a world tour named after the song, which began in September and will last until late January.

In September, someone dressed up as Marshmello and played a set at an established Singapore club, making the producer a little less than happy in the process. Meanwhile, in an interview earlier this month, Skrillex recalled the time he stood up to deadmau5 on Marshmello's behalf.
