Massive Multi-Car Fire at BoomTown Fair Destroys 80 Cars

A massive car fire at the BoomTown Fair, a music festival in Hampshire, destroyed 80 cars and led to evacuations of the festival's campsite. The fires reportedly began with three cars around 4:15 pm on Friday, but hot and dry conditions allowed it to spread before firefighters were able to contain the flames. No injuries have been reported.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue and Hampshire Police have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire, reports The Independent. The festival announced on its Twitter that an Incident Info Point will be open at the festival's West Gate.

The fire has been controlled and is now out. no injuries have been reported. Anyone who parked in West Gate - more updates will follow.
