Los Angeles-based Freak City affiliate Chico Sonido, a.k.a. Jose Rosas, and Paraguayan MC Mi$$il today shared a new video for their infectious collaboration "Atracción Fatal." The track is off Rosas' new album CLUB REDY, and this clip stars the up-and-coming reggaetonera and a couple of her comrades. It's styled by Vally G and Street Boi of Freak City and shot by Rosas on location in Brazil. The settings, dance moves, and lip syncing all seem relatively improvised, adding an intriguing visual character to the video along with the stars' commanding looks.Rosas gave THUMP some background for the video and the collaboration in general over email. "Mi$$il is a the the forefront of a generation that won't take social injustice any longer, twerking against the establishment with her strong feminine looks and Amazonian fierceness," he said. "Our online collaboration was taken a step further when I traveled to Brazil to personally shoot the video on an iPhone 6, at beautiful locations such as the paradise island of Florianópolis and the city of Curitiba.
