The Last Record: Eats Everything Found a "Perfect" House Record

Daniel Pearce, aka Eats Everything, continues to keep busy in 2016. Most recently, Pearce's remix of the classic 1995 Green Velvet track "Flash" was released on Cajual. On the new single, Pearce adds a darker and heavier layer to the track with more propulsive synths, while still keeping Green Velvet's signature cheeky lyrics at the beginning. On August 5, "Chitter Chatter," a new Eats Everything track, will be released as part of Home is Where the Pool Is 2, the latest compilation EP from PETS Recordings. Other featured artists include Gemini, Stefano Ritteri and Kim Ann Foxman with Shaun J. Wright.

"Judy (Hooked On Coke)" by C12 & Jole (Cevin Fisher Stop Line Remix)

I downloaded this because its one of those ones that I have been inadvertently after for ages, and it has slipped my mind. I heard it on a mix on the weekend, and immediately went and put it in the basket. I'm a massive fan of Cevin Fisher and this was in what I would consider his heyday (If he has one. He's pretty prolific to be honest). This one is perfect house music to me.

"Bass & Clap" by V-Block (Nick Super Deep Remix)

I bought this on vinyl from Discogs. Wicked record, in a Daft Punk, "Revolution 909" way. [It's a] proper groovy number and one that a few of my friends managed to get on vinyl when it came out in 2000. I missed out on it then, but I was not about to miss out on it again! I try to buy a lot of vinyl, but rarely play it and usually rip it as–lets be honest–it's a pain in the ass for many reasons. But I still love it and love mixing actual records in my studio.

"Knew His Ass" by Yotam Avni

I reckon my ratio of music purchased is about 25% new, 75% old. By old, I mean anything from two to 50 years old. I don't really do promos that often, and I only really play or listen to them if they are given to me by someone I know, or they are demos. This one is new and I am a really big fan of Yotam Avni and this track is an absolute beauty. Proper with a strong groove and repetitive feel. LOVVVVE IT!
