BREAKING: EDC NY Paused as Rain Hits Hard

All outdoor stages were shut down as rain and flooding threaten the North Jersey site.

Not even halfway through day one of Electric Daisy Carnival New York, attendees received warnings from their phone service providers announcing that the New Jersey area could experience flash floods in the early evening. As of 5PM, EDC management cut the music on all outdoor stages and asked attendees to move inside the MetLife Stadium.

The indoor lounge area hosted by Bud Light Platinum instantly swelled to maximum capacity with several hundred ravers standing outside, vying to get in as event officials let people in a few at a time. Those of us already inside are enjoying Gina Turner drop house bombs to an excited crowd.
