Jubilee Takes The Pre-Game to Austin, Texas with Orión García and Keeper's Erin Jantzen

Jubilee records her first on-location episode of the Pre-Game in Austin, Texas, where she's joined by two luminaries of the city's music scene: Orion Garcia and Erin Jantzen from indie-electronic Austin trio Keeper. Erin's has been in several bands over the past few years, but her current group Keeper is making waves in the city and just about everywhere else. Her and Jubilee talk about how she started her career, her many collaborations, and reminisces on some past shows in her musical hometown.

On the flip, there's Orión García, who's been throwing one of Austin's best parties, Peligrosa, for almost a decade now. Jubilee's played the night many times over the years, and says its her favorite party anywhere. The pair discuss the night's humble beginnings, Orión new record label—called Discos Peligrosa—as well as how they both believe SXSW to be a scam. To top it all off, Jubilee and Orión throw down a couple of red hot Texas DJ sets. (Free advice: If you are in Texas for SXSW and you need a break from the corporate stages then go to Peligrosa.
