Aphex Twin is Releasing a New EP This Month

Guess who's back, back again? (With a 14-track EP!)

In his usual form of jumbled, nearly-encrypted press releases, Richard D. James is back after a surprisingly short hiatus with some new music to follow up his groundbreaking (and THUMP's No.1 of the year) album Syro. Next up in his rolodex of IDM bleeps is a 12-track EP entitled Computer Controlled Acoustic Instruments Pt.2, which will arrive via Warp on January 23, as a 12" vinyl pressing, as well as on CD and digital download.

Not much more information is known on the mysterious release at this point—perhaps Rich will fly another blimp over our heads in the near future to answer all of our questions, though we're not counting on it. See below for the EP's tracklist.
