Free-By-Application Desert Festival FORM Acrosanti Announces Lineup

Skrillex, Four Tet, Mija, Empress Of, and many more join the Hundred Waters-curated event deep in the Arizona desert.

Founded in 2013 by OWSLA-signed, Florida-based indie-electronic band, Hundred Waters, FORM Acrosanti was created to flip what can be expected from your average music festival straight on its ass, and they've been doing it ever since in the unforgiving, but breathtaking desert located 70 miles north of Phoenix, Arizona. Today, the festival has announced their 2016 lineup that will run May 13-15, featuring a diverse spread of live and electronic sounds, featuring Skrillex, Four Tet, Thundercat, Empress Of, Mija, Autre Ne Veut, Ryan Hemsworth, and many more talented artists.

Since the event's inception, FORM has operated as a 3-day free-by-application music and arts festival, held at Acrosanti—an "urban laboratory" that was built in the 1970s by over 7,000 students and volunteers under the watchful eye of Frank Lloyd Wright protege, Paolo Soleri. Based around the event's peculiar location—an architectural oasis deep in the desert—the festival has not only featured great music curated by Hundred Waters, but a variety of workshops, immersive installations, and a strong focus on innovative design and environmental study.
