MoMA PS1's 2014 Warm Up Line-Up is F*cking Bananas

This might sound shocking, but museums throw really good parties. Long Island City's MoMA PS1 just announced the lineup for its Warm Up summer outdoor concert series featuring experimental live music, sound art, and DJ sets, and ilining up outside the Queens museum every Saturday starting from June 28.

The lineup includes Evian Christ, Simian Mobile Disco, Total Freedom, Dām-Funk live, the folks from Mister Saturday Night, Robert Hood among many many more. It's dance music variety at its finest.

The concert series will take place every Saturday form June 28 through September 6 in the museum's courtyard from 3PM to 9PM. It's like the Met Gala, but for the dancing masses. Don't miss it.

The concert series is curated by a special committee selected by MoMA PS1 Director and MoMA Chief Curator at Large, Klaus Biesenbach. This year's selection comes courtest of a committee that includes Brandon Stosuy of Pitchfork, Dean Bein of True Panther Sounds, Jonathan Galkin of DFA Records, Eliza Ryan, Imogene Strauss of Cool Managers and Matt Werth of RVNG Intl.
