XOYO Loves Eats Everything

We go behind the scenes of Eats Everything's 12-week residency at London's coolest nightclub.

XOYO Loves is a monthly video from one of London's coolest clubs: XOYO. In this beautifully filmed series, we get behind-the-scenes with some of the world's most important DJs along with live footage straight from Shoreditch.

"DJs, at the moment, are like rock stars," begins Eats Everything in the latest episode of our XOYO Loves series. By now, the sentiment has become a cliché, as EDM continues to conquer the Top 40 charts, but the Pets Records staple means it in a different sense: he's talking about the declining important of the resident DJ—and the trend toward importing foreign selectors to headline parties. It's a topic that's near and dear to his heart these days because he just completed a 12-week residency at XOYO, which gave him a platform to explore the depths of his sound and build a regular audience of Eats Everything devotees.

Over the course of his three-month stint, the Bristol native brought out and impressive roster of guest DJs that includes Disclosure, Skream, Heidi, Justin Martin, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. The latter of two faces also appear in this installment of XOYO Loves, in which Eats Everything and his mates reflect on what makes DJ residencies special and his fast-paced, technically astounding style of mixing. His is the first of four residencies the club announced back in January; next up is Southern Fried duo The 2 Bears.
