This summer has seen a slew of clubs in Ibiza raided by Spanish police as part of an ongoing investigation into tax fraud called Operation Chopin. In July the island's police hit iconic super club Amnesia twice, finding over $2 million in cash and arresting three people. Days later they searched Space, which is now wrapping up its final season, as well as Privilege, as part of the ongoing probe.

The latest clubs to find themselves under investigation are the Ushuaïa Beach Hotel (in Playa d'en Bossa) and Pacha (in Ibiza Town), both of which were raided by both police officers and tax officials the morning of September 15. Resident Advisor reports that Pacha was hit at 6:30AM, while Ushuaïa was entered at 8AM. There's no news yet as to whether any cash was found or arrests made; we'll update as information becomes available.
