Space Jesus Drops Freddy Todd's "Tanson" Into a Radioactive Vat of Weirdo-Bass

Let your freak flag fly.

Most of the time when things are immediately pegged as weird, it's simply a boring person's natural response to something they don't understand. In music this exchange is experienced far too often, though luckily, some of the best artists are so damn good because they know how to let their freak flag fly. One person who knows this is longhaired Brooklynite Space Jesus, who specializes in brewing wonderfully strange potions of low-end bass, and just provided an otherworldly spin to recent All Good Records signee Freddy Todd's new track "Tanson," which just got dropped as part of his brand new Khrysos EP.

Deconstructing the tune to sparse levels of offbeat bass frequencies, while cutting up the track's vocal sample and dousing the whole shebang in spiraling alien-sounds, it's the kind of the track you immediately have to play back to attempt explanation of what the hell you just listened to. To be honest, we still don't really know, but that's just how we like it.
