Nearly half a century after Tony Bennett gave San Francisco an anthem, local label Public Release is the latest to pay musical homage to The City by the Bay.

Over the last few months, they've been exploring the city's sound and aesthetics in its 415 compilation series, named for San Francisco's area code. After debuting the series with four tracks from hometown producers Anonstop, 40 Thieves, Bézier, and The Beat Broker on 415-PR10, the label has invited overseas artists to put their touch on the tracks in its latest EP, 415-PR11 Remix.

One of its tracks sees British producer (and former member of notable factions including UNKLE and DFA) Tim Goldsworthy assume his Thee Loving Hand solo moniker for a remix of Anonstop's "Seaside." Keeping the original's Balearic foundation intact, Goldsworthy's take incorporates breezy synth-work and airy vocals (courtesy of Joel Wells), making the track's namesake all the more fitting.

Public Release boss Eugene Whang tells THUMP of Goldsworthy, "I was always inspired by his involvement in Mo'Wax, and also his remix work later on. 'Seaside' seemed like a track he could do something special with."

Listen to Thee Loving Hand's "Seaside" remix below ahead of 415-PR11 Remix 's release on December 2.
