UK producer Gold Panda, real name Derwin Schlecker, returns today with his first album in three years, and it is, according to the producer, his most "positive" album to date.

Good Luck And Do Your Best was recorded at the producer's home in Chelsford, UK. Compared to the harder vibrations of his previous work, Schlecker said in a statement that he was inspired to create something "quite motivational, quite positive" after a trip to Hiroshima, Japan. "We had taken a taxi, and as we got out, the Japanese taxi driver's parting words to us as we left, were 'good luck and do your best'." The driver, Schlecker explained, said the words in English, which were derived from the Japanese phrase: "ganbatte, kudasai". "Roughly translated, Schlecker said, "it basically means 'do your best', or it can also mean 'good luck'."
