Brooklyn DJ and producer Justin Cudmore today shared a febrile new track off his upcoming split EP with Berlin artist Heartthrob, Intersection. "Bagel (Bite Mix)" follows Cudmore's standout solo releases on The Bunker and Honey Soundsystem Records, pairing club-ready torque with a sophisticated melodic approach. While the low end pummels away, the track's real sense of frenzy comes from jazz-like synth progressions that send it lurching through space.

Heartthrob remixes the track on Intersection, and told THUMP how he came to find the original. "I am very proud to have Justin Cudmore as the first guest on ISNISNT," he said. "Justin's track 'Bagel' stood out from a memorable session at Panorama Bar where our mutual friend Mike Servito worked it. The crowd ate it up! I couldn't get it out of my head afterwards and started playing it in my own sets. Eventually I decided to do a tougher rework, though the original is still my favorite…"

Intersection will be released on Heartthrob's ISNISNT imprint on May 25.
