Rabit Drops the Menacingly Raw "Snow Leopard," the Second Single Off His Forthcoming Debut Album

After wreaking havoc with "Pandemic," the Houston producer manages to get us even more excited for his 'Communion' LP.

It was more than a month ago that Houston producer Rabit dropped "Pandemic," the petrifying lead single off his forthcoming debut LP Communion. We're still gathering ourselves in its wake, but it's starting to seem like we should give that up, and just embrace whatever psychologically destabilizing effects his music has to offer.

Either way, now that the next single from the album is out, it doesn't seem like we have a choice. "Snow Leopard" finds Rabit employing something like a trance melody, but it's of course radically disheveled. The resulting track manages to be both menacingly raw and engrossingly sensual at the same time, first reeling you in with a melodic hook before really letting out its claws. Stream the single below, and get the album when its out on Tri Angle Records October 30.
