After a surprise reunion, more than a year of touring and many, many hints, LCD Soundsystem confirmed their long-awaited and still-untitled new album is "finally done."

Frontman James Murphy made the announcement last night during the band's headlining set at the Sasquatch! Festival. Those in attendance report Murphy said the album was finished "two days ago."

The album will come more than seven years after their last full-length, This Is Happening. Since the announcement of their new record this January, the group has released two tracks, "Call the Police," and "American Dream.

"As eager as folks have been for me to get this done, it's got nothing on how much I want to be finished myself," Murphy said in a message released to fans in accompaniment of "Call the Police" and "American Dream." "It's been one of the most enjoyable records to make in my life, if not the most fun ever (I think it is, for sure, the happiest I've ever been making a record)."
