Los Angeles musician Ramona Gonzalez, a.k.a. Nite Jewel, today announced her fourth studio album Real High, and shared the music video for its infectiously smooth lead single. The black and white, DIY clip for "2 Good 2 Be True" comes directed by fellow Angelino Geneva Jacuzzi, and stars Gonzalez on the beach engaging in some kind of occult exchange with a masked and hooded figure. The track, meanwhile, explores a tenuous relationship with desire over a jazzy keyboard progression and a lithe house rhythm.

"Those dance sequences were a blast to film," said director Jacuzzi in a press release. "Ramona, dancing her ASS OFF for hours.. Christina [Acevedo] on camera, cracking up… and me, jumping and flailing around the room shouting out inspirations like… 'Now we're at the Prince Party!.. Erotic City! Dance Dance!!'"

The record will feature tracks with previous collaborators including producer and vocalist Dâm-Funk, Bay Area rapper Droop-E, and composer Julia Holter.

It will be released May 5on the artist's own imprint Gloriette Records, and is available for pre-order.
