If you've lived and clubbed in New York long enough, chances are you've been to a RINSED party. The traveling Brooklyn nightlife event has been bringing in some top-notch DJs for the better part of five years to help usher in their underground raves. And like fellow promoters The Bunker and Mutual Dreaming, Rinsed is now launching a label: The Umbrella.

To celebrate the label launch, RINSED and Umbrella founders Daniel Wender and Blacky II have assembled a compilation that features an eye-catching and ear-wormy line-up of up-and-coming producers, including Red Bull Music Academy alumni Nightwave, ace remixer and DJ Krystal Klear, and techno guru Spatial and Curses, as well as many others.

"We've been looking for ways to expand the reach of the RINSED events for a few years now," Wender and Blacky II told THUMP via email. "Through these events we've met some incredible artists and musicians so it seemed obvious to start a label, but everyone starts a label and we wanted to bring something new to the table. After some ruminating we decided to found The Umbrella and have it feature a really properly immersive event component in tandem with every release."

Wender and Blacky II maintained that the aesthetic of the label will coincide with that of the Rinsed party brand: "We're known for pushing event themes to elaborate places and building ground up events at raw spaces, and our record release parties will be no different. Like our RINSED events, Umbrella releases will revolve around a theme that will guide the sound of the release as well as the aesthetic and interactive elements of its coinciding party. Our mission with The Umbrella is to close the gap between eternal records and fleeting temporal events, allowing our fans to take a little piece of our events home with them now—even if they weren't there."

Scope out the mix below, which will be available for download on February 28.
