Northside Festival, which returns to Brooklyn for its ninth year from June 8-11, has shared the first wave of its music lineup.

Dirty Projectors, Miguel, Kamasi Washington, and Thursday will headline the multi-day event, which will take place in venues and outdoor stages scattered throughout Williamsburg, Greenpoint, and Bushwick.

The bill is stacked with electronic and experimental acts, including Elysia Crampton (voted THUMP's best live act of 2016), Jlin, Julia Holter, Ricky Eat Acid, Moor Mother, William Basinski, Kate NV, and more. Indie-pop band Lower Dens will also be performing songs from ABBA's Gold: Greatest Hits. Showcases will be curated by AdHoc, the 33 ⅓ book series, Kickstarter's The Creative Independent, and more. View the initial lineup below.

Preceding the music programming is Northside Innovation (June 7-9), a series of keynote speeches, panels, interviews, and pitch competitions; with confirmed speakers thus far including SNL's Sasheer Zamata, The FADER's Andy Cohn, VICE's own Katherine Keating, and more.
