Brooklyn experimentalist Oneohtrix Point Never has remastered and reissued his influential 2010 cassette Chuck Person's Eccojams Vol. 1, originally released on The Curatorial Club. While Daniel Lopatin's sound has taken a number of different turns over the years—ranging from new age-inspired synth compositions to conceptual explorations of adolescence and rock music—this moment in his discography is particularly interesting because it arguably went on to influence what came to be known as vaporwave.

Copies of the original Eccojams cassette are highly sought after, having sold for up to $400 a pop on Discogs, and now the release is available in MP3 and FLAC formats as an "Official master tape cassette rip." As of now there is no word of a cassette reissue.

In a 2013 AMA session for Reddit, Lopatin said he had "multiple volumes of eccojams in the cryotank set to defrost in the distant future."

Recently, Lopatin recruited Val Kilmer, of all people, to star in a sleepy music video for Garden of Delete track "Animals."

Chuck Person's Eccojams Vol. 1 is available for purchase now from the artist's webstore.
