Belgian dance rock duo Soulwax, also known as 2manydjs, shared an infectious new single today called "Transient Program for Drums and Machinery," and announced that they will embark on a European tour next year. The track finds them returning to their trademark mix of vintage-sounding analog sequencers, rock arrangement, and prog compositional leanings, yet it finds them exploring a new pared-back simplicity in their approach.

Soulwax haven't released a full-length album under their own name since 2005's Nite Versions, but they did invent 15 different bands for their original soundtrack to the 2016 film Belgica. "Transient Program for Drums and Machinery" is available for free download from the band's website. Soulwax's touring band will feature seven members, including three drummers and MIXHELL co-founder Laima Leyton on synth and backing vocals.

Soulwax tour dates:

March 30 - Zurich, Switzerland - Halle 622
