What started as a series of tweets joking about the potential dangers of playing the new Pokemon GO game turned into a musical remix project. Yesterday, El-P posted a series of tweets criticizing the real-world application of the game and suggested people might get hit by cars playing the game. "I will laugh the second one of you gets hit by a car. Or softly chuckle to myself. Sadly. Soft but sad," he said. "Real shit someone is going to get accidentally maimed or killed off this pokemon shit."However, fans of the game and program were not amused and sent tweets to El-P throughout the afternoon.

Later, he had a change of heart and continued to joke about his Twitter account getting hacked and him having a change of heart. "I will be reaching out to leaders of the pokemon community. listening. understanding. Improving myself and my capacity for empathy," he said. Later, he posted a "Pokemon rap" to his Instagram account and challenged his followers to remix the rap to win a t-shirt and hoodie.ive gotten more negative feedback from the pokemon community than i have from trump supporters. im actually impressed.
