It's not everyday a musician gets studio time with a famed producer like Geoff Barrow. Barrow will play in a charity football match on July 24 to support Breast Cancer Care, the only UK-wide organization providing resources and care for people with breast cancer. The composer, DJ, instrumentalist and producer of Portishead is auctioning off a day's worth of his production services and his studio to the person who provides the highest donation to his Just Giving donation page. Barrow will also accept overseas donations to produce remotely.

Thus far, Barrow has received 90 donations, including a £1000 donation from indie rock band Arcade Fire. Barrow has surpassed his £6,000 goal and has now raised £6,298.67. Donations are still being accepted. Last month, Portishead debuted an ominous cover of ABBA's "SOS."
