The festival will also enlist artists such as Gotye and Peanut Butter Wolf for tributes to some of the beloved musicians who passed away in 2016, including Pauline Oliveros, Bernie Worrell, and Keith Emerson.

Moogfest will have a protest stage at this year's festival in opposition to discriminatory policies that are sweeping across the US. In February, the festival unveiled that the program will also include a series of ambient listening parties and an Innovators in Instrument Design series.

The North Carolina festival will also host an event at this year's edition of South by Southwest featuring panels and performances exploring themes of diversity and inclusion.

Tickets for the festival are available for purchase on its website.
