It's Dance-Lite at Bonnaroo This June

See ya'll at the farm.

Is festival season in full swing already? While it still feels like winter, the bastion of humidity amongst summer festivals, the world renowned Tennessee country soirée known to the world as the Bonnaroo Music and Arts hath unleashed its lineup. It's a place where hippies, yuppies, rave-heads, and yes, probably even a few overalled hipster farmhands come to find peace, of of course, a massive fucking party. This year, the event unfurls in Manchester, Tennessee June 11-14.

Even after Skrillex destroyed Bonnaroo 2014, and in an interesting contrast to Coachella, which just last week announced a substantially dance-heavy lineup, 'Roo packs a rather light measure of untz-centric vibes. DJs and electronic artists are a scant percentage of the lineup while traditional Bonnaroo sounds of Billy Joel and Mumford and Sons dominate, with nods to hip-hip via Kendrick Lamar and Run the Jewels. Still, dance music is represented on the lineup thanks to headliners Deadmau5 and Bassnectar, along with Flume, Caribou, ODESZA, Flying Lotus, SBTRKT, Tove Lo, Gramatik, Jamie XX, Rudimental, Tycho, Rustie, and 'Roo-regulars, the jamtronica powerhouse STS9.

Tickets go on sale January 17. Check the newly announced lineup below and the Bonnaroo's site for more details. We'll Tennes-see you there (sorry).
