Glastonbury confirmed today that Radiohead will headline the Pyramid Stage on the Friday night of the festival. The announcement comes after rumors started circulating yesterday when photos of "crop circles" of the band's logo appeared at Worthy Farm.

The last time the British band played the festival was in 2011; in 2003 they headlined the Saturday night.

In May of this year, Radiohead released A Moon Shaped Pool, their ninth studio album. Reviewing the album, THUMPs Colin Joyce wrote: "A Moon Shaped Pool is full of the confused half-steps and desperate pleas that come as a part of interpersonal dissolution."

The Saturday night Glastonbury headliners have not been announced yet, fanning the flames that Daft Punk might snag the top spot on the billing. There's been speculator the French duo will headline since a mysterious website with alleged tour dates appeared a few weeks ago.

Glastonbury takes place between June 21-25 2017 at Worthy Farm in the Somerset, UK. Tickets for this year's festival sold out in an hour. There will be one last shot to get tickets when the re-sale opens in April.
