Red Bull Thre3Style is Back: Destination Tokyo

The Canadian Red Bull Thre3Style competition is back for its fifth year as the largest DJ competition in the world. After sifting through over 100 applications from Canadian DJs from coast to coast, fourteen Canadian Red Bull Thre3Style finalists have been chosen and the official roster has just been announced.

This year, competitors are sorted into two Regional Qualifiers events in April - one in Halifax and one in Vancouver. From there, six finalists are chosen for the National competition, which will be held in Winnipeg on May 9. If their 15-minute original mix is worthy enough, one DJ will earn the position as the Canadian representative at the 2015 Red Bull Thre3Style World Finals in Tokyo, Japan.

Last year's Thre3Style competition saw Calgary's DJ and turntablist C-SIK represent Canada in the finals, after winning the top spot at Nationals in Vancouver.

April 18 - East Qualifier, Halifax, NS at The Marquee Ballroom
