If you're a fan of Los Angeles-based collective WeDidIt, then you probably know its members love hip-hop, whether it be RL Grime's massive remix of Kanye West's "Mercy" or last year's collaborative EP with Toronto rapper Tory Lanez. Now two of the label's best, Shlohmo and D33J, have teamed up to produce the lead single from Atlanta rapper and singer Pollàri's upcoming debut album Sonya (out next month on WeDidIt).Also featuring a hard-nosed verse from up-and-comer Lil Yachty—who recently appeared in Kanye West's Yeezy Season 3 show at New York's Madison Square Garden, the track's watery synths provide the perfect backdrop for Pollàri's woozy croons.Listen to the track below via The FADER and read our 2015 interview with Shlohmo here.Max Mertens is on Twitter.
