Days before Skepta was scheduled to play a collection of US tour dates, his visa application has been denied. In a brief tweet, Skepta sent love to his fans who planned on seeing him live and said that he is "not allowed in America right now." On Instagram, he added that he is, "Still taking forward steps and forever working with God. Brb."

Love to everybody that wanted to see me on tour this month, my U.S visa has been denied and I am not allowed in America right now.

Skepta's scheduled dates included a stop at 1015 Folsom in San Francisco and Moogfest in North Carolina. This news also comes mere weeks before his new album, Konnichiwa, is set to drop on May 6. In recent days, Skepta has shared both the album's cover art and tracklist.

Skepta's management did not return a request for comment at the time of publication.
