Text Records founder Four Tet took to Twitter this morning to announce that he's releasing new music tomorrow, but he didn't say what it would be. He has been hyping the forthcoming release since last Tuesday, July 27, when he said that he would put out something new sometime this week.The artist hasn't released an official studio album since 2015's Morning / Evening, and hasn't put out a solo single since 2013's "Kool FM" 12". He's been generous with his remixing skills in the meantime, though, taking on tracks by the xx, Rihanna, and Todd Terje.Last summer, Four Tet released a "sort of" new album of previously released compilation-only tracks, entitled Randoms. He also released two collaborative 12" singles on Text last year: one with Melbourne producer Designer, and another UK funky innovator Champion.
