Festival season is here and THUMP has teamed up with 7UP to help you plan your party perfectly. Ah, East Rutherford. What a place. The little New Jersey borough has a population of 8,913 living within 4 square miles and, within that, three separate stadiums that can hold almost 150,000 amongst them. The town's population balloons on big sporting days, but nothing could prepare them for the deluge of weird and wonderful people about to rain upon them as Electric Daisy Carnival NY thunders its way into town.

If you're one of the lovable scamps preparing to rave in that direction, here are a few pointers on the local wares and sights just in case…

PARM N' PIZZA

Ravers love pizza. Everybody knows this. Our good friends claim that Natoli's, a 'lil family run Italian joint in Secaucus, has 'the best parm subs on the planet' in addition to some pretty swell pizza.

A GOOD OLD FASHIONED IRISH PUB

Every town has an Irish pub and they're all the same. They're like vortexes into a world of kitschy mediocrity where it rains Guinness and everything is fried and made out of potatoes. We mean this in a good way! The Blarney Station in Rutherford agrees.

ICE CREAM IN ALL ITS MAJESTIC VARIANTS

Cake and Cone have that sundae swag. They're all about that soft-serve life. They make slushies and flurries and have a pretty impressive array of regular 'ol ice cream flavors as well. Nothing pairs with raving like ice cream…except pizza.

LAST OPPORTUNITY GROCERY STORE

We don't condone tailgating before EDC, but if you need to stop somewhere to pick up ranch dressing or deodorant, Aldi on Route 17 is your last stop before you enter ravetopia.

A FREAKIN' CASTLE

There's a castle in Rutherford. It's called Iviswold. We encourage you to live out your Game of Thrones fantasies. Please report back to us on how it went.

What more could a human being need? We could suggest a hotel to stay at, but they're all booked anyway and ravers don't sleep, they go to after-parties!!
